NPCA INVITES PUBLIC FEEDBACK ON UPPER WELLAND RIVER TRIBUTARIES FLOOD STUDY

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) is beginning work on floodplain mapping in the Upper Welland River watershed.

The mapping project focuses on nineteen creeks in the Upper Welland River watershed located in Haldimand County, City of Hamilton, Township of West Lincoln, and the Township of Wainfleet. This project is essential to reflect current land use and climate data, ensuring better flood risk management for the surrounding communities.

The NPCA is hosting an upcoming information session which will initiate the project, residents may ask questions during this time.
